The Magical Ice Cream is located in Chinatown, San Francisco. We did not order their ice-cream because it was chilly that day. We only ordered the strawberry milk tea with Crystal boba via a Kiosk. The drink was not bad but we had to wait a little while coz there was only one worker there.
Novel ice cream experience -- half the fun is watching them freeze and roll your ice cream straight from the cream. Lots of flavors to choose from, though the strawberry-mango wasn't particularly strong. The vibe is bright with loud k-pop playing (better as an intermediate stop during a walk rather than a destination to spend a lot of time at). The service was okay -- the cashier did not seem happy to be there. It was honestly quite slow, but we weren't in a rush so didn't mind too much. I'd stop here again if I happen upon it, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Came to Magical Ice Cream around 8pm on a Monday. There were about 3 people ahead of us when we ordered at the touchscreen machine, and even as we were leaving. We got to watch the ice cream being made at the counter, and there are a few tables and chairs to sit at. The matcha ice cream we got was really good, would come back again to try the other flavors.
Easy walk from our hotel & good ice cream. Service was ok, no one looked very happy to be there or smiled.
This place is MAGICAL! I can't believed there were no long lines outside (perhaps we were lucky coming on a Saturday late afternoon). We were introduced to this ice cream shop by our children's godparents who took us here after our dim sum lunch in SF Chinatown. There is limited seating inside (we were lucky to get the large table for all 7 of us). Watching them make the ice cream desserts was just as magical as eating these dessert creations. Staff were friendly and helpful in helping customers, and explaining the various selections (look at the photo with the menu...it can be overwhelming). If you're in SF Chinatown and looking for a fun ice cream dessert, our family recommends making a trip to MAGICAL ICE CREAM!
We had the Boba Tea, and it was very nice. A wide range of flavors for both the teas and the boba. The ice cream is a cold plate frozen profmduct and looked very good, but we did not Tae tome for it this day so we will need to go back and try it.
Popped in this place on Sunday afternoon with my girlfriends, just after dim sum, and we loved it! Totally hit the spot and it was a nice place to just sit and catch up. Service was sweet and fast!
